Structure and process of acting training

Classic acting, improvisation, music and language teachers, voice and body acrobats, film coaches, dramaturges, actors, film and theater directors and much more will accompany you on your way.
1st semester:
The focus is on the basic seminars. Here the most important basics regarding voice, body and movement training for the next training levels are laid. The seminars are accompanied by acrobatics and music lessons, as well as choreography and pantomime.
2nd and 3rd semester:
In the second semester, the first scene studies are staged, which are then presented in public performances. They are supplemented by modules in the areas of music, pantomime, acrobatics and choreography. After the 3rd semester the intermediate examination takes place.
4th to 6th semester:
In semesters 4-6, acting techniques are taught in film. The courses conclude with practical film work. Other modules are microphone speaking, voice training, music, physical theater and acrobatics. Further scene studies and studio productions refine theatrical practice.
7th semester:
Deepening of knowledge in scene studies. In the last semester, the vorspiel monologues are worked out for the end.
The school year has 45 vacation days (two weeks at Easter, six in summer and two at the turn of the year). There are no courses on public holidays.
At the end of the three-and-a-half-year training course, all graduates receive a certificate of completion that identifies them as professional actors for stage and film.
With the degree, an audition at the Commission of the Central International and Specialist Placement Service (ZAV) is possible. Inclusion in the ZAV file can be very helpful for a later engagement.
